We start computer class in Elementary!

Welcome all parents and students to a blog dedicated to this class. My name is Mr. Pablo Ruelas and I am thrilled to give technology class to the students. Even though this is a school focused mainly in physical education, technology is a very important part in a students life, there is no doubt that they will use it all their life. There are two computer labs so the elementary one is only for this section, this is good news because students between sections will not cross classes.

So, What will students learn this year?

Complete understanding mainly of the Windows Vista operating system, such as organizing files, using memory sticks, LAN, and windows aplications such as the suite Office 2007. Plus using effectively the most popular MS Office programs, Not only will the student learn about computers, this is a class where technology in general aspects is covered, PC´s, Laptops, Ipods, cell phones and even videogames in general they will understand how all the essential things they use in their daily life work, they will be able to explain why things happen in the technology world.
